New Features:
The new features of DataDefractor SSIS 1.1 SR-4 include:
- Enabled modifying the type of the textual DataDefractor SSIS output. The user can change the length of the text output by DataDefractor from the default 1000 characters to any number between 1 and 4000. If more than 4000 characters are required, the user can change the output type from DT_WSTR to DT_NTEXT, which has a capacity of 2 Billion characters.
Bug Fixes:
This release includes fixes for the following issues:
- Added support for BIFF Excel files with missing ROW BIFF records.
Backward Compatibility:
DataDefractor 1.1 SR-4 is backwards compatible with SSIS packages built with previous releases of the product.
System Requirements
- Microsoft Windows Vista, Microsoft Windows XP SP2 operating system, Windows Server 2003 SP1or Windows 2000 SP4. DataDefractor has native 64-bit support for the x64-bit editions of the operating systems.
- SQL Server 2005 Integration Services SP1.
- .NET Framework 2.0.
Hardware Requirements:
- 600 MHz Pentium III-compatible or faster processor; 1 GHz or faster processor recommended.
- 512 MB of RAM or more.
- 50 MB of available hard disk space recommended.
- Super VGA (1,024×768) or higher-resolution video adapter and monitor.
